Description of the
area
We live in the most beautiful nature in the area.
The farm is located beautifully with a forrest nearby and only a
kilometer to Lake Karlsgaarde.
Around Lake Karlsgaarde walking routes have been established and there
is an 80 meters long bridge across the lake.
The route leads past Tambours Garden and the old waterworks. A part of
the route is also a part of the nature path from Egtved to the west
coast.
The lake is artificially built in order to produce electricity on the
the nearby waterworks.
At the waterworks there is an exhibition outlining the establishment of
the project. Part of this eshibition is descriptions of the area before
and after the establishment of the lake and the waterworks.
